Kate on Ice!

Kate's class has started their ice skating sessions. They go on Friday afternoons to the local ice rink. I went along to help drive and help with getting the ice skates on. I told Kate she could watch but of course that wasn't enough for her.

Her PE teacher Mrs. Wooters came over and took her out on the ice for the very first time. She loved it! She also loved being able to say "I told you mom that I could do this!"
She then got really brave. She decided to try out one of the training frames.
The other kids were so surprised to see her out on the ice. Now, she can't wait for Fridays!

Yippee! We loved seeing Kate with the other boys and girls. Mom, when will you learn that you can't tell Kate she can't? We all know she has to find that out for herself. You are the best, Christa! Kate is one lucky little girl. Love to all of you!!

Way to go Kate! You're such a brave girl ... you'd never see Mrs. Trevillian out there on that ice! It sounds like you are really living it up over there -- never a dull moment for the Marchiondo's!! God's Blessings for Christmas ...
