Witches were Everywhere!

Kate and Georgia disappeared back to Kate's room and about 1/2 hour later, we had 2 witches in our kitchen. They were set to go to the International Club's Halloween party for the "pre-teens".
I thought this was pretty funny with "dracula" and his harem of witches on the merry-go-round.
Katelyn's team won the mummy making contest.
They carved pumpkins and I have to say it was pretty scary to see 20 some kids with knives in their hands but there were no incidents. Jason got a cool picture of the jack-o-lanterns and some ghosts swarming about.

Sofia has arrived!

There is another Marchiondo in the world and no I haven't been keeping a secret for 9 months. We have another wonderful niece. This beautiful girl belongs to Zeb and Kelly. Sofia Rose was born on October 28th.
We just love technology. Zeb skyped us from the hospital (in NICU) and we snapped a bunch of pictures during the call. They are a bit blurry but she still is a cutie.

Zeb emailed us this cute picture yesterday - his little pumpkin.

Jason turns the Big "40"

The day has finally come and we celebrated with friends, lasagna and cake!! We had one chocolate and one yellow. We just love birthday cake!
I wonder what he wished for - maybe for us to move to China:)
The Boehmers - Tom, Marie Claude, and Lucas
Howard Friend and his girls - Georgia and Ruby. Kate and Chloe on the far right.

Kate is Stylin

I was able to get some cute pictures of Kate. They make a good 4th grade picture since the school doesn't do individual pictures. She just loves that outfit and I think she would wear it everyday if she could.
She's my little fashion model.

Swiss Cheese Weekend & Fete de Vendages

I'm sorry everyone for making you look at that old car for so long when you would check to see if I had posted anything new. October has just been a busy month!!! I'm going to almost get caught up on the blog today.
Neuchatel was pretty busy at the end of September.

The streets were busy.
If you love the smell of cheese then you would have been in heaven. The aroma of cheese and fondue was a bit too much for me. I don't even know who won the awards.

We had a little get together with some families for the Fete. We had confetti everywhere. The weather wasn't the best but it was still fun. I had some confetti in a bag left over from last year that I sprinkled out the window on the kids.

Everyone waiting for the parade to start.
Liz and I had just gotten a handful of confetti in our faces from someone in the parade.
It was just a bit rainy. I think the adults were ready to get back upstairs to the refreshments:)
We didn't think the parade was as nice as last year. We thought it was pretty funny to see the Ninja turtles. I think it would be hard to wear those heads, march and play an instrument all at the same time:)
We made sure our windows were closed but the confetti cannon did get one apartment across the street from us.
